As a women-owned company ourselves, supporting and collaborating with other women entrepreneurs is something we deeply value. This year, we’re honoured to spotlight some of our incredible boutique partners who carry Terrera in their stores.

We believe that the heart of meaningful business lies in community, which is why spotlighting the incredible boutiques we partner with feels especially important this International Women’s Day.
Independent boutiques curate thoughtfully, not mass-produced, trend-driven inventory. Choosing to shop small is an investment in real people and real communities. In this blog, we’re proud to be featuring two boutiques, Timeless & Twist and My Filosophy, who have been supplying Terrera for many years in their shops, each bringing their own unique vision, passion, and heart to their stores.
Timeless & Twist
Boutique Name: Timeless & Twist
Location: Enfield, Nova Scotia, Canada
Business Owner: Donna McDonald-Landry
Description: A fashion boutique established in 2016 that features classic, comfortable, quality, natural fabric fashions often with a unique “twist” to keep things interesting.
Fun Fact: Terrera (then known as “LNBF Leave Nothing But Footprints”) was their very first fashion line around ten years ago, and it continues to carry many of Terrera’s basics.
My Filosophy
Boutique Name: My Filosophy
Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Business Owner: Tannis Davidson
Description: A boutique styling studio space where women and men can come to feel supported, understood, and confident in their own skin.
Fun Fact: My Filosophy has been running for the past 20+ years; a place where founder Tannis focuses on working closely with her clients to create wardrobes that feel aligned with who each person is and exploring styles they may not have originally reached for, but end up loving.

1. What Values Drive Your Business?
A. Donna (Timeless & Twist)
Donna is committed to diversity and inclusion in her hiring practices, supports various local events, and is passionate about supporting Autism organizations herself having a beautiful, brilliant son on the spectrum. With a view towards sustainability and affordability, Timeless & Twist has recently added a consignment section to the store which features some pre-loved items.

B. Tannis (My Filosophy)
For Tannis, her values can be summed up in three words: resilience, integrity, and intentionality.
Resilience - Staying in business for over two decades means learning how to adapt without losing yourself.
Integrity – How you do business matters just as much as what you sell.
Intentionality – Confidence begins underneath, with the undergarments and everyday basics that support you quietly throughout your day.
Tannis mentions the importance of foundation in our outfits; when something feels soft, breathable, and aligned with our bodies (like thoughtfully made bamboo essentials!), it changes how we carry ourselves.

2. What Has Been One of the Biggest Challenges You've Faced and How Did You Overcome It?
A. Donna (Timeless & Twist)
As mentioned, to help combat these trying economic times and her strong views towards sustainability and affordability in the fashion world, Donna is working towards combating some of these challenges by introducing a consignment section to Timeless & Twist which features pre-loved items to be re-loved by others (including some Terrera pieces!).
B. Tannis (My Filosophy)
Tannis reflects on the past few years of her business and how they have pushed her to evolve both personally and professionally. She regards how retail has shifted; the landscape has changed, and how she’s had to rethink how to operate while protecting what she’s built. It hasn’t always been easy for My Filosophy, but Tannis has learned that resilience doesn’t always mean pushing harder. Sometimes, it means pausing, recalibrating, and trusting yourself enough to take the next step.

3. What Message Would You Love to Share with Women Reading This Today?

You are allowed to evolve, outgrow spaces, expectations, and even past versions of yourself. Strength doesn’t always look like expansion, sometimes it looks like refinement. Sometimes it looks like protecting what you’ve built and rebuilding it better. Trust yourself, bet on yourself, and never confuse a challenging season with the end of your story. - Tannis, My Filosophy
